You may have noticed that I don’t like writing new recipes for the sake of it. If one recipe serves multiple purposes, I usually acknowledge that, direct you to it, and carry on keeping things as simple as possible. After all, that means fewer recipes to keep track of, fewer ingredients to have on hand, and more effective and efficient DIY sessions.
In saying this, I will admit that I could simply direct you to the Apricot Kernel Facial Oil in this free eBook, this Night-time Face Balm, the Whipped Daytime Face Cream in my book, Naturally Inspired (now in its 3rd edition), or even to one of the gorgeous oils mentioned in this blog. Nevertheless, I am going to share this recipe with you because there is something really magical about the combination of ingredients.
Strawberry Seed Oil is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamins A and C. It hydrates, nourishes, and protects facial skin, reducing fine lines and inflammation. Since discovering this oil and using it daily, I have noticed that my skin feels deeply moisturised and supple, and I’ve had fewer breakouts as it absorbs beautifully and feels so light on the skin.
As always, feel free to tweak this recipe based on what you have and can afford. Leave out the Frankincense essential oil if you don’t have it.
Enjoy! 🍓
